Grant Application Requirements

Applications for all grant types should be creative but concise. Information beyond the basic fields on the electronic application forms may be required.  Please review the following guidelines for additional information about what grant requests should include.

1. Describe your plan for use of these funds including, if applicable, a project timeline. When appropriate please also include the following information:

• Applicant qualifications.
• Information on any paid personnel and/or volunteers that will be involved in the project.
• Period the funding request will cover.
• Program activities, goals, and anticipated outcomes.

2. Briefly describe the individuals or groups to benefit from this project and estimate the number of students directly affected:

• Number of individuals, and/or geographic area, and/or target population benefiting from the project.

3. What is the total budget of the project and, if applicable, what other sources of funding will you be using? Please be specific about the cost of your project and attach additional pages if needed.

• Program costs and sources of matching funds and/or donated resources.

4. If the project is ongoing, how will you obtain additional funds in the future?

• Sustainability.

5. The Olympia School District Education Foundation requires all successful grantees to submit a short post-grant report on their project; a form is available above.
