Grant Applications
Grant requests will be evaluated based on
commitment to the mission of the Olympia School
District Education Foundation -- to promote unique
learning opportunities that enable students to
achieve world class success every day. Foundation
activities are consistent with, and supportive of, the
Olympia School District vision for teaching and learning so
that each student will achieve success in
a changing and diverse world. We envision grant
projects that promote student growth and
achievement.
Steps to Completing a Grant Application
1. Learn about the types
of grants awarded by the Foundation.
2. Read the Grant Application Requirements below.
3. Select and complete the appropriate electronic
application. The grant application forms are Microsoft
Word documents that will accommodate
any amount of text. Simply download (save) the appropriate
application to your computer and
enter the required information into the fields provided. When you
have finished filling out the form
please be sure to save a copy for yourself.
4. Submit the application as an email attachment or print out and mail to
the Foundation.

Grant Application Requirements
Applications for all grant types should be creative but concise.
Information beyond the basic fields on the electronic
application forms may be required. Please
review the following guidelines for additional information
about what grant requests should include.

Describe your plan for use of these funds including, if applicable, a project
timeline. When
appropriate
please also include the following information:
2. Briefly describe the individuals or groups to benefit from this project and estimate the number of students directly affected:
3. What is the total budget of the project and, if applicable, what other sources of funding will you be using? Please be specific about the cost of your project and attach additional pages if needed.
4. If the project is ongoing, how will you obtain additional funds in the future?
5. The Olympia School District Education Foundation requires all successful grantees to submit a short post-grant report on their project; a form is available above.
