The Olympia School District Education Foundation raises and
distributes money so that teachers can better provide every child
in the district with the tools they need to succeed – in school and in life.

Since 1998, the Foundation has granted more than $225,000 for tutoring
programs, specialized books and software, science kits, and other
programs and materials that otherwise might not be available.

In 2008, the Foundation established the Principals Emergency
Checkbook Fund. The principals of all schools in the Olympia School District receive money to help students in need with basic necessities so they are ready to learn at their fullest capacity.

The Foundation, a non-profit IRS 501(c)(3) organization, appreciates
the generous support of the individuals, families, and businesses who
help us meet the needs of the district and our children.
